ORDER PROCESSING, SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Usually your order will be shipped the next working day. The processing time may change during busy periods, but I aim to dispatch your order in maximum 3 working days.
For custom orders the processing time is between 1-3 weeks (may be longer) depending on the design you want and current requests. For more details check the Custom Orders page.
Within The Netherlands, your package is sent with PostNL in mailbox parcels (brievenbuspakje). This means that you don't need to be home to receive them, as they fit through your mailbox. As The Hobby Point is based in The Netherlands, you will get your order 1-2 days after shipping.
The shipping cost within The Netherlands is €3.99 for orders under €40 and free for orders over €40. The free shipping applies automatically when you have items worth more than €40 in your cart, so no discount code is necessary.
Do you live in The Hague?
If you live in The Hague you can opt for guaranteed next-day delivery for only €2. You do not need to be home to receive your order, as it will be packed in a mailbox parcel (brievenbuspakje), that fits through your letterbox (for earrings). This option is available for every product on the website, but please note that for larger items such as the sweet jars, you do need to be home to receive the item.
Local pickup is possible in The Hague, The Netherlands. This option is free of charge and you will receive an email when you can come pick up your order. Generally your order will be ready in 1-2 working days.
The Hobby Point offers worldwide shipping. For the moment, all the international orders are shipped with PostNL. All of the international orders are sent in mailbox parcels and do not have track and trace. If you wish to be able to track your order, contact me here or on Instagram and I will look into the updated costs. Be aware that this option costs more.

For international orders there may be delays due to unforseen circumstances. This is not always the case, but please note that your order may arrive a bit later than specified.
For orders outside the EU there may be customs taxes that you need to pay when you receive your order. There may be delays due to customs, which The Hobby Point is not responsible for. The same applies for these charges.
RETURNS and REFUNDS
Due to hygiene reasons, all earring sales are final. Every pair is checked for quality when assembling the order and every pair is carefully packaged to avoid damage during transportation. If the items are somehow damaged during shipping, contact us here and we will do our best to find a solution.
For any other items such as sweets jars, tote bags, ring holders, pins or candle holders, the return period is 14 days from the day you received your order. If this is possible, it is specified under each product on their respective pages. Please contact us here to start a return. Include your order number and reason for the return. We will contact you about the address where you have to send back the package and the date by which you need to send it back. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please be aware that the cost for shipping items back to us has to be covered by you, the customer. Upon receipt of the items, we will notify you and, if the items are in the same condition as when you got them, the refund will be accepted. Please allow up to 10 business days for the money to be returned to you on your original method of payment.
